1. Who we are

Drakkon Hosting is operated by Eoin Kennedy, trading as Drakkon Hosting, a sole trader based in Ireland. For the purposes of data protection law, we are the "data controller" of personal data collected through our website and Services.

2. What data we collect

Depending on how you use our site and Services, we may collect:

• Account data: name, email address, username, password (stored securely, hashed)
• Billing data: billing address and payment details, processed directly by our payment processor Stripe (we do not store full card numbers ourselves)
• Service data: server configuration, uploaded files, and usage logs needed to operate your hosting
• Support data: messages sent via email or Discord when you contact support
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and basic analytics data when you browse our site

3. Why we process your data (lawful basis)

• To provide and manage the Services you've purchased (contract)
• To process payments and prevent fraud (contract and legitimate interest)
• To respond to support requests (contract and legitimate interest)
• To meet legal and tax obligations (legal obligation)
• To send service-related emails, such as billing notices or security alerts (contract)
• With your consent, for optional cookies or marketing communications (consent)

4. Who we share data with

We share data with trusted third parties only as needed to run the Services:

• Stripe (payment processing)
• Paymenter (our billing platform, self-hosted)
• Pterodactyl Panel (our game server management platform, self-hosted)
• Infrastructure providers hosting our servers

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some third-party providers we use may process data outside Ireland/the EEA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, as required under GDPR.

6. How long we keep data

We keep account and billing data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations (typically up to 6 years for financial records under Irish law). Server data is deleted after the grace period described in our Terms of Service following cancellation.

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention requirements
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
